Cause of Baby Dumping

On this day, our country has been growing rapidly both in terms of economic, social, political or against the odds of modernization and globalization. Now, the name of Malaysia was so prominent on the world stage. As Malaysians, we should be proud of the success has been forged by the people in the world. However, despite the excellence of this, the Malaysian society is still haunted by a social disease that has been nesting in our society, namely the problem of abandoned babies. The question is, what are the main triggering factor of this problem because there is smoke there is fire? Why does this happen?

In this case, we can not deny that the lack of religious upbringing is the main reason for baby dumping cases occur. Usually groups of adolescents who are involved in the case of abandoned babies. Lack of religious teachings and guidance of the guide of life caused them to lose direction in life and engage in negative symptoms, such as free association. Adolescents who engage in free association relationship is beyond the natural. This causes the girls pregnant before marriage. In these situations, teens who lost their faith would be inhumane and left newborn in places like public toilets, litter bins, side drains and so on.

In addition, peer influence also lead to cases of baby dumping occurred. This is because at a young age, teens are very easily influenced by their peers. This problem becomes worse when they associate with negative peers. Negative friends who will invite young people to do things outside the boundaries of religion and norms of society, such as going to places of entertainment such as disco, taking drugs and doing free association. Teens who fall in the arena, the arena will be negative sexual promiscuity, and eventually reached a dead end to find that her pregnancy. In desperation, they had to discard their babies.

Accordingly, the attitude of the people who love to criticize and condemn also cause social problems occur. When a teenage girl gave birth to an illegitimate child, the community is certainly insulting and lightly on it.Indirectly, the girls will also be considered degrading family. For the sake of his own image as well as families, young people will take the easy way out by throwing the baby out of disgust is viewed by the public.

In conclusion, there are many factors that lead to cases of baby dumping occurred. This problem should be addressed and resolved to carry out these steps effectively before the situation worsens and threatens the future of the country. In this case, all parties must cooperate and work together to solve this problem because like the Malay proverb says, "because the sewer water round, round man for consensus"
